Not that much cake.

Ive played dark souls and bloodborne, I turned the difficulty to normal a couple times at the beginning. Admittedly, I found out some stuff was meant to be killed later, but fuck it.

Cal is ugly but it's a great game. If you want a challenge go to Dathomir first. You'll get a cool upgrade to make your lightsaber into a double bladed one a little sooner than normal.

Left off last night on Illum. Guess I need to make a lightsaber now or something. The voice acting is trash. Cal is such a stupid, boring protag. He'll be all up his own ass with guilt then 2 minutes later be like "WAHOO ISNT THIS FUN BD WONG"

bump, work is going terribly today

isnt it annoying that all the animal enemies just feel like the same bot with different skin? also stormtroopers and purge troopers. also, this game is easy and badly paced

why would anyone give a crap about ponchos

why are ponchos the costumes? i did find luke's flightsuit from V which is cool i guess, but the default non-poncho (noncho) outfit is the only one that feels right on this kid

It's pretty decent but I stopped pretty early. I'll get back into it some time, but I honestly felt it was "popular trends of PS4/Xbone games!" wrapped in a Star Wars package. Which for many is great. For me... it's decent. The lightsaber combat is definitely the highlight, and while I didn't like the Dark Souls enemy respawning at first, it grew on me after a while.

I've played DS1 and 2, Bloodborne, and GoW. Probably some more I'm not thinking of. I thought it was fine. It's mostly about parry timing IIRC.

Yes it mostly involves parries. The thing is, enemies have such small move pools and almost none of them have change ups. Couple that with the generous parry timing and you have a snooze fest bore chore combat imo

I didn't get all that far. I was on the second planet after the tutorial, and none of the bounty hunters had shown up yet.

I literally don't know why the bounty hunters have boss health bars. They're as difficult as a purge trooper
