I just brought the water chip back to my vault. I had to steal it from some ghouls and mutants. Had 42 days left. Would have liked to have found another way but the time limit scared me into action

Yep. I've played around with it as a kid having absolutely no clue what was going on and as an adult feeling like my choices were heavily restricted by the time limit.
I got some kind of ending and considered myself done with the game. Fallout 2 is a lot more interesting and less restricted, I didn't complete it but I had more fun --- 00000000000000000 ... Copied to Clipboard!

I never got very far in that game but back in the day one time I manage to murder everyone in the first town. You can save in between turns even in a battle. So I just attacked the main gate guards and then would save everytime i survived a turn. I even killed the kids. You used to be able to do that in 90s games
