It's been a while but I have some lobster tails in the fridge I got a couple days ago. Also got some king crab, salmon, steelhead trout and some shrimp

I tried it as a kid, didn't like it. Never cared for seafood.

Bits of lobster in pasta: about 2 years I think

Never, as far as I'm aware. There is some tasty seafood stuff at the local Chinese buffet. Not exactly sure if there's lobster in that.

It's likely artificial crab meat, unless it's a high end place, they don't ever really use real seafood in buffets except shrimp or white fish/salmon.

I had some sometime since covid, the fancy supermarket near me had a bunch of precooked lobster meat. Bought some and made lobsters rolls, it was very delish.

I'm becoming vegetarian though so I may not eat it ever again

why are you becoming vegetarian? is it because how animals are treated before they're slaughtered etc.....?

The only times I've had lobster were at restaurants or someone cooked it for me, so yeah this time I will have to buy live lobster and cook it myself I'll just look on YouTube

Just be precise with the time and the lobster weight, they are easy to overcook, then the meat becomes rubbery.

Yes. I've grappled with the ethical issues of it all my life, and COVID has caused me to reassess a lot of things. I started feeling if I'm so anxious about my own life/existence how can take the life of another when I have the means to not.

Honestly, don't miss meat at all. Physically I do feel better, less sluggish. I'm not super strict about it, like if I order a rice dish from a restaurant it may be made with chicken stock etc and I won't stress about it if I don't know/ask. My big thing is no more purchasing of meat or animal products from the supermarket and no more ordering meat containing dishes.
