So if i liked Warhammer Total War and basically just auto resolve my way throughout the campaign, Im gonna like this game right? how complicated is it? I dont really like being diplomatic and I dont like trading and all that stuff. I just want to click and conquer.

This has a lot more strategic depth than total war. They have put out a series of videos to give you an idea of some of the mechanics. Personally I like CK a hell of a lot more than Total war, but it is not really a simple game

Then it might not be for me, Im not in the mood for a complicated game right now.

CKII isn't really complicated. It's pretty easy to learn once you get the ball rolling. Combat is easy if you just have a bigger number then the other guys. TW combat is involved.

Here are some tips:

Don't piss off your Vassals.
Don't imprison them.
Don't be a dick or else your vassals will revolt.
Don't piss of the Muslims or else you get a Jihad.

Their "Iberian Intrigue" preview series is hilarious and gives a good idea of what playing the game is like. Or can be like, anyway.

You'll probably hate the game. Clicking and conquering with no diplomacy, is basically the exact opposite of Crusader Kings 3. You not only have diplomacy with other countries to deal with, you have diplomacy within your own country to deal with.

I was just happy to see some people pick it for today's poll, but I do admit, I'm more excited for Baldur's Gate III. However, I'm sure I'll put a LOT more hours into this.

Just a few more hours for me. It's both terrible and good that I get to go back to work tomorrow. I'm happy to get back to work [I was still making the same amount of money, so that wasn't an issue], but why did it happen the day that CK3 comes out!? So I'm going to stay up until it releases on Steam, start to downlaod it, and then go to sleep and wake up early enough that I may be able to put an hour into it before I work.
