So tired of my arena streaks getting broken by crashes. My latest one was broken because it never even loaded the opponent splash screen, nevermind the actual battle. I hit the fight button and it just black screens and never loaded anything. It was still accepting button presses (i.e. it had the little circle thingy when you click) but just never changed from black so I had to shut down the app

That sucks. To be honest I haven't had any of the bugs people complain about yet, no arena crashing or raid bug or funny graphics or anything. I guess the developers were doing all their testing on pixel 3, lol

I wonder how long until the last story character? Assuming Eizen is sometime soon, there's a fairly heavy bias towards Earth characters lately.

Which is all the more annoying that I still haven't managed to get more than 1 Earth SSR, though I guess that means I can't complain.

My thinking here is that these are actual new costumes, and Magilou's weird super popular Halloween outfit can appear in it's own banner rather than Halloween.

Though I imagine schoolgirl Magilou would end up higher priority.

I'm really surprised they are prioritizing mostly skins, etc for characters that already exist in the game as playable. I really figured they'd be making new characters that aren't playable yet that are popular.

Like do we really need 3 different Yuris? Estelles? etc?

I mean I know I'm not going to get what I want, but there's lots of people who want Sheena, Collette, other popular Tales characters and such. Just seems weird that like 90% of the new characters are just skins (OF PREVIOUS SSRS)

It's because it's easier to make a new skin for an existing model, then to create the new models from scratch

I think it's unlikely we'll see normal SSRs of characters that already have SR units. It'll likely be some twist.

What I do expect is the currently unitilized costume feature in the character settings will let you swap visually between any version a character you have in the future, i/e putting Summer Veigue's outfit on regular Veigue if you have both.

This could actually be a Covid issue. I know that's why the Summer units don't have unique voicelines or cut ins yet even though they're supposed to.

....I just realized I don't actually HAVE any alt skin units because I never pull on those banners, so perhaps you are correct lol. I had just never seen it utilized in Arena or Support.

Mieu in Nov is probably the worst case, but it gives some more time for them to implement changes to summoning. Datamines during the beta picked up step-up summons so who knows what the timeline may be for that

I literally never do not use friend units when available. The friend summon is too important a factor to keeping your ingredients stocked for the weeklies.

Meh, I've been getting way more ingredients from just doing the story quests.

You'll get like enough ingredients for maybe 2 cooks from a week of friend summons, if that.

I used to do friend summons all the time, but it's not worth wasting the 5-10 seconds to find one that's decent for a VH raid, you'll lose way too much contribution.

...Do you do story quests after you've beaten them? Other than cleaning up missions for the gleamstones, I've never done that once.
