Hoya R72 filter and a dslr camera. This is a 30 second exposure. I am glad it came out as well as it did since I had to make a straining for a huge poop face because 30 seconds is a long time to sit as still as possible.

Do infrared lights/filters help when taking pictures of fish? They are technically 'warmer' than the water they are in and water is rather low contrast so any trick would help

i dont know what picture in particular but I did have an awesome mustache. I shaved it, like I do once in a blue moon only to grow it back. This one ain't that long but its getting there.

Not being an expert I would say no. with an IR filter(in my case, Hoya R72), you need super long exposure times generally to get anything usable. This one was 30 seconds, which is why I have straining to poop face.
