Whether the majority of this users have no friends (this is sad) or they have just given up multiplayer games because elder age doesn't let them compete...that's just really depressing. God damn, gamefaqs.

Aren't most games on the market single player? Maybe I'm wrong here, but that may be why it's skewed so much there.

Even then, a lot of the time nowadays I stream to my friends when I play single player games. It's a fun way to hang out and get some progress in. I've done it with Celeste and P4G, and it's always a good time.

Meh. I played hockey games and fighting games a bit online but there's people out there that are litetally playing hours per day and are just too good or they use exploits and beat you 14 to 2 or something

Single player games are just more fun

The path of least resistance is always more fun at first, but is an overall shallower experience. Getting good at fighting games is hard, and is only worth it if you love the genre. People aren't cheating, they are just better.

Quite frankly, in my 30+ years of gaming, i have never seen a cheater except in PUBG and Counter Strike

Actually I've seen duping in diablo. Not really a pvp game, though.

or the sheer amount of single player games available compared to the amount of multiplayer games available with a decent enough community.

consider that almost every big budget AAA game for the past several decades have been single player games

Yeah I don't have time to put 100s of hours into a multiplayer game that is essentially the same thing over and over again nowadays

I've never been super interested in multi-player. I can only stand doing the same thing over and over in a game so much before I want to move onto the next one. Story is more interesting than refining your skill on the same mode for fifty hours.

People dont always have time to play with friends, I get maybe 3 times a week to play MP with my buddies now due to all the crap happening at work. A month ago it was pretty much every other night we all played coop or MP.

Now when I get home I put in a single player game since I rather relax then deal with randoms in coop or bullshit in MP.

The older you get the less MP matters, topic creator must not be a adult with a life to think its sad single player is more important to people then MP.
