They were parked outside a chicken restaurant in Michigan when the driver pretended to offer the elderly homeless man 20 dollars through the car window as he dangles the money and yells "I got a twenty for you" The 21 y/o driver then yells "you've got to walk faster" and as the man walks closer, he then speeds off as both men laugh. The driver appears to have more money on his lap as the video was shared on snapchat before it was deleted.. But not before Maddie took the video exposed him to the world on who he was as the man says he bought the homeless man "chicken" before pranking him but social media was skeptical and said that does not still justify his behaviour The driver's mother says her son thought it was funny to do at the time but now they got DEATH THREATS thanks to Maddie sharing the video...and she says they are CONSTRUCTION WORKERS She said "When i first started watching it, i thought, oh that's very nice. He's about to give him some money because he had a bunch of money in his lap. Then when he snatched it away i thought, no way, that did not just happen. That's so disgusting. The response has been overwhelming. I've been friends with him for probably 10 years. I want to school with him. I haven't talked to him in awhile but i saw it on his snapchat story. I ended up replying to it and said, this isn't funny, why did you post this? His response was 'i already gave him food and money before and he still begged me for money'" He asked her to delete the video but she said it was not okay as she continues "He thinks he can do this because he'd bought the guy food. This is when i thought, this isn't okay at all. He messaged me yesterday and asked if i could delete the video but no, i'm not deleting it. I didn't expect it to go viral, i just posted it so people in my town could see it." As expected there is now viral outrage over the incident and it appears maddie and the man are no longer friends..... Maddie wasn't going to let him get away with it, especially when people are struggling during this pandemic and are in need of money and couldn't believe people can treat others with such disrespect when all people need is love and kindness...
