I'd like to see a good drunk driving simulator where you see a couple cut scenes of the night of drinking. You get behind the wheel and it's really in and out. Then you black out and wake up in the hospital then get transfered to Prison. Then the main part of the game is trying to piece together what happened and maybe lie a little to the authorities to try to get out of a prison sentence. Somethin like that would be nice and applicable to the every day Joe.

I'd like for virutal thugs to come back

it was hella cool, basically like turf wars where everyone started in a map where theres two cities(you'd have to travel from one to the other), one for beginners and the other for experts. The map was filled with these blocks which could be bought as bases and you could upgrade them helping you make money and improve defenses. You could make a gang and add as many members as you wanted, the members could donate money they made to the cause of the gangs and the leaders could use said money to buy more bases and increasing the territory or upgrade bases and buying weapons for other members.

The super fun part was the gang wars we'd have, all groups would fight for territory and you could plan an attack and attack other gangs bases and basically take them as yours. And the game wouldn't pause at all, you could one day go to bed knowing you had like 10 bases all upgraded with the highest armor and defense weapons and the next morning you'd find out you're homeless and was raided by another gang which took all your bases and weapons lol. The good part was everything would reset every 30 days, everyone would start over and try to reclaim everything again.

fuck man, i really need to write all these things down before i lose memory of this precious game and some day recreated it somehow. I've been scouring the internet looking for something even HALF similar but no luck ._.

No, i forgot to mention but it wasn't like an open world 3d character world game. it was like, fuck I don't know how to describe it lol. It was like, there was one page and the map was like half the page, you'd have to click the controls on the right side of the map to have your character move either up, down, left, or right on the map and shit like that.

Having fast internet meant EVERYTHING in that game lol, back then I was on aol dial up and was slow as fuck but as soon as I got cable internet...woo boy, i immediately turned into one of the top dogs in that game.

The last frontier I can consider at the moment is when we hit average throughput and processing speeds so high that true realtime in MMOs becomes a thing, beyond the very low budget stuff.

Something like sea of thieves only done better.

more content, more side stories to follow, more reasons to want to collect loot, gang hideouts. A lot of stuff that seems easy and basic that I cant figure out was missing.
