Pokemon stories have never left any kind of emotional impact on me so I cant really compare any of them, theyre just too goddamn similar and the stakes are usually too low.

Nah.

MOTHER 3 had a much more powerful ending, as ambiguous as it was.

Xenoblade Chronicles had a stronger ending as well.

When Professor Oak came when he heard I became champion. That definitely left an impact on me

At an award ceremony to commemorate you becoming Champion + you and your friends stopping Team Flare, AZ shows up and asks for a battle. Whether you win or lose, he sees the error of his ways and his special Floette suddenly returns to him after 3000 years (the origin of that meme). After that, you never see AZ or that Floette again.
