They also said that there was confusion because the plates came up as stolen but that was actually a vehicle that had the same numbers from a different state. The police didnt look hard enough at the motorcycle/state part and instead just jumped to harassing this family for no legitimate reason. If Im stopped at a light every plate I read is getting ran. what could also happen is that, some departments gave LPRs. Itll automatically scan plates and it could have hit the plate for being similar.
