You also have to be in the correct mission for the correct area for him to how up otherwise no boss will appear. So you always have to slep back to a save point and turn in your mission and start the correct one every time >_>

I want to like this game cuz the gameplay is fun but the exploration is so bad.

The amount of back tracking really killed ZX for me.

Keep Model X

Complete the game with both Vent and Aile on Normal or Hard difficulties and save their "Cleared!" save files. Now, when you play through a New Game again as either character, you'll keep Model X after acquiring Model ZX.

You have to beat the game twice with Aile and Vent and it stays in your inventory on your 3rd playthrough after getting ZX

Just finished Zero 1-4. Was holding off for a little for for ZX and Advent, but I'm not sure how it's going to fare. Not a big fan of backtracking

Yeah, I've seen some people call it a Metroidvania, but it kinda needs to have a map that makes sense in order to be one. That map is awful. Advent's is a little better but still not great.

But then in Advent they're taller and Aile has boobs and stuff >_> Did they just switch out their parts? Like How Alouette gave her self a taller boobier body for ZX even though she's a reploid?

ngl it feels like that. The actual levels are kinda short and the difficulty in bosses is trying not to hit their weak point so you get a lvl 4 victory. Otherwose they're pretty easy >_>

But getting to (indirectly) play as the 4 guardians and X and Zero is pretty fun though

wow, FUCK these sidequests! You can only do one at a time and I keep forgetting to actually "accept" the quests at the terminal and keep showing up to fucking nothing there. UGH!!

One of them is literally keep going back and forth to the same area 6 times to get a sub tank. What were they thinking!?

The map was definitely the worst part of that game. The game itself was decently fun, but the nonsensical map made back tracking x10 worse.

Well beat the final boss.

Overall I liked the gameplay when I was in levels, but holy cow the map is so bad and tedious. And the mission system is the dumbest thing ever. Plus most of the biometals were useless lol. I was either Zero or Harpunia 99% of the time. The rest of them were super situational. I hope Advent is better.

Gonna try and fight Omega now I guess then move on to Advent >_>

Level 4 victories make it so the biometels don't need crystals to be repaired to have a max gauge.
