Does anyone remember how hard this game was?

I used to play it on Sonic Mega Collection Plus all the time. Not a bad game, and I like that Robotnik's design was based on his look from one of the old Sonic cartoons. But the game was just brutal. Especially the speed at which some of your opponents would have the beans falls. Anyone else remember how brutal it was? Definitely one of the hardest games I've ever. Pure insanity.

I played that game so much on Genesis.

I was probably the only person who got excited about Puyo Puyo Tetris because of Puyo Puyo.

My friends used to battle each other on that, filling the screen with beans before setting them all off in a combo. Crazy game

It's been forever but the fact that I beat it without cheats says to me it's not one of the hardest games I've ever played lol. I actually owned the Kirby version as a kid. I remember it got crazy but yeah I think I beat it on the hardest difficulty. Not gonna say i didnt die a ton though.

Played the hell out of it on Genesis when I was a kid. Used to frustrate me to no end.

Which is why I have no qualms about using the rewind feature on the Genesis collection on Switch

Such a fun game! It's still my favorite of that type of game. You are right that the game is hard especially the last couple levels. Which are basically BS where you either win (with some luck) in the first minute or lose horribly.

But it is nothing compared to the insanity of Sonic Spinball.

Those AI computers will break you. Have them on the ropes then they do a massive combo and smugly change their facial expressions

I finally beat it on the PS3 Genesis collection some 20 years later, but I gave up on Spinball.

I never made it further than, like, level 6 in that. Im not very good at it. My sister was a bit better, but didnt make it much farther.
As for Spinball, I made it to The Machine once.

I recall beating Sonic Spinball. I know I made it towards the end at least.

I beat it when I was like 8 years old, so... couldn't have been that hard
