are we looking at a Lost situation where it was way more fun to watch as it was airing and the ending seasons basically soils the entire experience.

Absolutely worth watching. Even though the last couple of seasons feel pretty rushed, the stuff that's there is satisfying enough to be worth the watch.

I just finished my second full-series watch-through last night, and it's a hell of a ride.

There's enough high quality material in the early seasons to warrant a watch. Just don't be surprised when it fizzles out. You'll know when it does.

The first four seasons are good. It gets very spotty after that.

I feel like it might be better if you binge watch it because if you watch the entire final season in a single day its really not that bad. There was a year and a half wait between season 7 and season 8, plus it took six or eight weeks or whatever to actually see every episode. There was a lot of waiting and expectations were high.

Shitty last season but definitely worth a watch. Seasons 1-5 are top tier, 6 is pretty good. 7 is meh and 8 is full on horse shit.

The first three seasons are gold all the way through. From there the quality dips gradually until by the end it's absolutely shit.
