The DLC isn't even that good to save the game. Most people are all like "dark souls II is worth playing for the DLC".

It's really not. It still suffers from douchey, unfair design, terrible base mechanics and things of that nature. It's like the designers thought putting you up against 3 melee dudes with two dudes casting magick at you is fun and fair difficulty. Most areas in DSII is like this.

Dark Souls 2 has the most garbage dlc in the whole series. Every single one has a part that's better to just run through and ignore everything

I like all three Dark Souls 2 DLC's, but every one of them has a "fun" area where you can summon people who don't have the DLC which was cool. They all have a reused assets boss at the end though which is what I'm pretty meh about, even though Lud & Zallen gave me a rush to solo the first time.

The respawning gimmick thing with those deer looking motherfuckers was weird for Dark Souls, even with 2's limited spawns thing which I hated.
