Got me an abscessed molar and this is the most agonizing thing ever. Like having a spike underneath my tooth that i can't take out. Only thing keeping me going is extra strength Tylonol until i can get it pulled this week.

Try flushing it with hydrogen peroxide. It only gives a few minutes of relief, but it's a few minutes more that you didn't have

Turns out in the age of Ye Olde No Dentists most people did not have access to sugar and corn syrup so tooth decay was not as bad of a problem back then.

Try swishing warm salt water. I have mild periodontal disease and a cavity and it helps

Ancient Egyptians had dentists, and toothbrushes (the thing about living in a desert environment, is that sand gets everywhere, including the food. Sand wears down your teeth), and that was thousands of years ago.
