Sure. It's vital in maturing. People mature at different ages. I however, chose to go the opposite way when deep thinking just made me too depressed.
Then eventually I was able to have fucked up revelations that kind of just slide off me as I keep walking. I also find it interesting that we all only have our own perspective on deep thoughts. I'd think that everyone convinces themselves that their thoughts are deep. Because by their personal standard, they would be. Which is why it's pointless to worry about who's deeper than who. Cause we're all deep and dumb to someone. Just pick people you vibe with and enjoy the company. Who cares how deep it is.
