1,3,4,7 are the best movies
2 only had the big fight vs the basilisk in the end. Book wise it was always the weakest for me. Also movie wise. 5 had the weird flying smoke wizard dueling that I never pictured in the books where they seemed to duel like fencers 6 was mainly about the internal narrative in Harry especially with Dumbledore in the end and is difficult to capture on film 1 is the most underrated because it had fantastic costumes, true HP vibe and a cast that really set the stage ... Chamber of Secrets was the first of the books I've read. It had this horror mystery feel to it and I loved the twist with Tom Riddle at the end. Having just finished rewatching that movie last night, there were a lot of things I felt off from it. Specifically what's with there being indoor plumbing a 1000 years ago?
But Tom Riddle was great and I loved the last part of the movie but I remember there being a lot more from the book which didn't make it into the movie. I also used to HATE 3. I thought it was SO boring and couldn't ever finish it as a kid. As an adult, holy crap that movie was so good. Watching it a few years ago, I was so intrigued by every moment and just absolutely love it. The movies aren't great if you read the books but I still love them and the actors who play in them. Part 1 and 2 of Movie 7 were great IMO. I love watching them one after the other and can't watch it any other way. Movie 6 was great too because I used to have a crush on Lavender Brown when it came out. 5 was....alright. 4 was great. I'd have to say that I can't put them in an order because its hard but they're all great IMO. If I had more time, I'd read the books but I don't /= ... Copied to Clipboard!

gof movie was stupid because they decided they didnt need to explain anything that was going on or what barty crouch was doing or his plan or what happened to him or yknow anything important to the plot
but what they did need to add in was 10 minutes of harry and the dragon flying around the castle --- I don't think so, Tim. ~~ Pizza Crew ~~ ... Copied to Clipboard!

A lot of people rank the book last, but I thought it did a great job invoking a sense of horror. You never knew who was going to be attacked next. I'm surprised, it was probably my favorite because it was the only one that wasn't just a "we must stop Voldemort's evil plan!!" plot (even though the twist ending up being Riddle = Voldemort lol). But I can see how a lot of people didn't like it, it is basically just a filler book when you look at the whole series. --- Hello world! ... Copied to Clipboard!

It certainly had my favorite reveal. It was really clever, but the most jaw dropping reveal for me by far was book 3. Then the movie basically glossed over this and all of the Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs stuff. Pissed me off even though the movie was fairly well done otherwise. --- I am the Cheese! As far as "ending twists" I would go 3>2>1>4. 5/6/7 didn't really have major mystery reveals I don't think, at least not like the first 4 books. --- Hello world! ... Copied to Clipboard!
