you guys know the ones...It was basically just a frozen tyson patty on a wheat bun but i could never replicate at home...At school it had that "you're gonna remember this in 20 years" taste.

I have a similar problem, but with something that we called Italian dunkers. It was just breadsticks that you dipped in sauce, but I can't ever make it taste as good as I remember them testing in 4th grade.

When I was in jail I prayed for one of those chicken patties to be on my tray vs some other mystery meat.

the ones they have in costco in the tube packaging for foster farms are close but it's the oven that changes the texture.

Ugh no, the ones we had were awful. Put me off chicken sandwiches until I was like 25. We did have something called Italian dunkers though that were good. They were French bread pizza that was like four inches wide and an inch and a half thick. Generally pepperoni, though I believe they had plain cheese as well. I just realized we never had chicken sandwiches in NYC. Fish with cheese patties and burgers were the best we ever got.

we didnt have those at my elementary school but we did in high school, i always got them with a slice of cheese and loaded them up with texas pete
