Staying strictly to motor vehicles under your control, how fast have you gone?

Note: this doesn't mean necessarily on a public road, just how fast you've driven a vehicle period.

140 in a BMW m5 I rented last Christmas. The car had more to go but that was my comfort limit being on a not greatly maintained road.

Went a little over 100 on the highway back when Montana had no speed limit in the 90s. Felt super unsafe.

Back when I was in college, Id go 85-ish if Id be driving there or back home. One time, I figured Id hit 100 for a moment, just to say I did it.

Been in a car going 12Omph and it was fucking terrifying. The fastest I've drove was around 9Omph on the highway.

I had to drive from Tulsa OK to St Louis MO late one night after traveling there for a concert. I didn't want to have to spend money for a hotel and figured I'd just drive the 5 or so hours home after the concert ended.

So from about midnight to 5am I was the only one on my stretch of the interstate for a good portion of the time. During these moments, I went past 100mph. I could have easily been nailed by the police if they were in hiding, but that never happened. I also slowed back down to your more standard 70-80 mph speeds when approaching other vehicles or if it became crowded. But there were several stretches where I was easily going 100+ for several minutes at a time.

100 on the cross island parkway here in NY, shit was hella dangerous would not do again

95 when I was actually looking. I may have been going faster earlier though.

Ok grandpa get out the way. 120 in my mazda going down a straight stretch of highway, car was shaking a little from the velocity. The adrenaline you get is intense.
