Nintendo's attitude about the series and the handling of the Mario IP in that context is really really fucking awful. So it's almost impossible so far not to think about how much better this game would be if they were allowed to have unique characters. But yeah. Game is still quite good. Could be a masterpiece if they had complete creative freedom and the battle system wasn't as cumbersome. Then again I'm still not very far. But the boss battles are probably my favorite part of the game, I love that battle system. Overall the game is still great. parabola_master posted... I just hope the battles get more interesting because each one has been stupid so far You haven't even gotten to chapter 1, so you're still in the tutorial.
