For the last few weeks, whenever I receive a message on Facebook Messenger I get a notification from the app itself displaying the message (the normal notification) and ALSO a notification from the separate Facebook app saying "X sent you a message." How tf do I get those Facebook notifications to go away? It's not an option in any of my notifications settings on either app.

When you get the notification in the Facebook app, go to it and touch+hold on the notification, you should be able to disable notifications of that type from there IIRC
