I had one horizontal in my palm and broke it rather easily, so I figured I had to be doing it wrong. Checked online and apparently the egg is supposed to be vertical in your palm, longitudinally along your hand. So I tried that, and it was a bit harder, but I still crushed the egg.

I guess it's one of those things where they say "impossible" but it's really just hard for the average person?

I think you're supposed to use a hard boiled egg, but even that seems possible in my mind.

breaking anything is possible, why would an egg become immune to breaking just cause you're using one hand?

It's a.preasure dispersal trick. If you squeeze the egg with your entire palm and fingers at the same time it's hard to break due to how the egg shell is shaped, it spreads the force out across the entire shell.

If you focus the pressure.on one particular spot, say with your fingertips, then it breaks easily, also considering by doing it that way you're changing the angle you're exerting pressure on the egg, concentrating it into a much smaller area

You can go to like 7min and start but there's legit professional lifters who deadlift 700lb and can't crack the egg so I'm thinking you did something wrong or have godly forearms. (The whole video is entertaining and worth watching though)

You can easily break an egg into a pan with your thumb if you don't mind a bit of egg on your hand.

Oh I know, but the palm challenge is harder because the force is more evenly distributed. I posted my egg break on my Facebook page if y'all wanna check it out. I'll edit the OP.
