When I was in the 9th grade I was on the football team. I was kinda a novel player and the popular kids liked me. Anyways they were REALLY pushing me to ask someone out for home coming even though I had no one in mind. I ended up asking my neighbor out and she said no and it was really weird >_>

I've been asked out a few times, but I never really asked anyone out.

I kinda had a crush on a friend of mine in the 10th grade, and we'd pass each other notes. and one time, I forgot exactly what I said, but I think I basically asked her out (I was joking, though...mostly) and after class I told her I was messing around and she told me she was kinda freaking out.

I don't think that was a good sign, lol, but I think she was already dating someone, so idk.

Asked one girl out I knew for over a year and it did not go well at all lmao. That was back in college. She never talked to me again after I asked

I also got more experience being asked out when younger. It's never been uncommon for girls to take initiative around here. I can't remember if I asked any of them out or if I just heavily hinted at it until they picked up on it. I really have no memory either way, just remember actually hanging out.
