The only one triggered is you getting triggered by reality. Yeah the overall numbers may look flat, but this is a giant country not all getting hit at the same time. States in the shit are anything but flat. What people don't realize is deaths don't happen on day one, they happen when the health care system can't keep up. When people were boasting about low death rates despite high numbers of infections, they were missing the point. This virus doesn't kill instantly, it kills when people can't get the proper treatment. They aren't because it's largely lower risk people that are breaking safety procedures, combined with doctors getting better at treatment. We're starting to see upticks in specific states that are starting to fill up their hospitals that makes it more difficult for those doctors to give treatment. Which has been the entire point of flattening the curve is ensuring our hospital don't get overrun. Argue intelligently or it makes your point dismissable.
