At current job I've been at for 2 years and a month I've missed work once and have come in during off days to cover for people that have called in and such.

If a person averaged missing a day of scheduled work every month I'd think they would get fired.

Ive worked the same two jobs for going on six years and have only called in twice. Once I was sick and the other my mom was taken to the emergency room. That was probably over three years ago.

Always unless I'm legitimately too sick to work, which is quite rare thankfully.

i might call out twice a year. I'm taking a week off starting Sunday, haven't done that in two years. I even had 40 hours of my PTO paid out to me this year and still have over 120 hours.

If we aren't including vacation time, every year for like 5 years. I've called out sick maybe two or three times, only when I'm super ill, and I called out when my dogs died. Since you are including vacation, I intend to use my accrued vacation time and never have perfect attendance for a month again. I'm planning on using at least a paid day off every month of the year.

The only time I use time off is for my recent dentist appointments. I also had a month-long study abroad trip to Japan last year. That's about it.
