I'll agree, to an extent. There are dudes who just want to talk (and tell the same stories, repeatedly) like it's new. I don't hang out with people like that too often anymore though.

I've felt this was the case for a long time and have been trying to fix it via calming methods and meditation. But idk.

Those are valid interventions for the symptoms but if you don't treat the depression, the symptoms are going to escalate until they become unmanageable.

Idk if its covid situation or just all the stress over the years but I've definitely got way worse at managing it.

Little embarrassing things no one remembers trigger high anxiety within me. I'll let out a sudden scream. It's weird. I usually hold it in around people, but my family is starting to notice. They hear it and ask "what's wrong", but I play it off like "nothing I just remembered something I have to do".

I also snap at my loved ones even tho I know I'm wrong for blowing up.

Yeah you ask a simple question and they give a fucking novel. I know someone like that. Very annoying.

Eventually they say "So...anyway...long story short..." naw bro you might as well finish the fucking novel.
