But you literally hate a style of music that is mostly about loving those close to you. It's just good for your overall mental health. I would always copy sound effects, BGMs, random things on the street, and people speaking in different accents and tones. My older brother handed me a PSP with Kanyes College Dropout and Young Jeezys Thug Motivation 101 at the beginning of my middle school years. I picked up guitar and have had a passion for music ever since.. I didnt even consider it rap, I really thought that it was what people called Rock and Roll. I mean my golden age of rap is essentially what I grew up listening to.. all the Akon features, Lil Wayne Mixtapes, T-Pain smash hits, Icebox by Omarion, Chopped n Screwed, Clipse, Dipset, UGK, 3 6 Mafia, D4L.. I went back and found out about Biggie, Tupac, Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, Nas, etc later. Music is music, I would say I like the dumb rap era stuff but I love it because theres nothing in the Rock n Roll world that offers me true honesty about a persons motivations.
