You're walking home from work one day and notice that people are acting weird around you. Not everyone, not even most people but some people are avoiding you in the street beyond social distancing. Others are running away or crying. One of them even threw their wallet at your feet then jumped into a dumpster.

Then later you check out the news and hear that a crazy holocaust denier, 9-11 truther, Tracer main and psycho killer called Ricky Manhattan went on a rampage in Argentina killing many people and razing several buildings. He then single handedly massacred the entire GEOF team that was sent to take him down.

The Argentine authorities failed to track him down after these horrific gruesome killings and now they know why. He had fled after his crimes to the country you live in and has acted up again. Setting fire to a police station and attacking a bake sale. He's considered at large and the #1 most wanted criminal.

Then the news shows pictures/clips of him and you are shocked to disover he looks and sounds exactly like you. Not truly identical, he has slightly smaller ears and a more manly voice as well as much more confident posture. But nothing you wouldn't notice without close inspection, you could pass for twins.

The news then says Ricky is armed and exetremely dangerous. Telling citizens to be vigilant in looking out for him but to avoid at all costs, contacting the police if spotted.

I go to the police and make sure they have my info and distinguishing parts of my body so when they catch the look a like there is no conflict or someone claiming it was me.

Then I go hunting the look a like so I can get rid of the person making people think I have done a crime.

Plot twist: I am the criminal and I seek the other guy out so I can make him take the hit. Or I off him in a way they believe Im dead and get the fuck out the country.

Alternative Plot Twist: I actually had a twin IRL and killed him in the womb. So I probably already solved this problem super early on in the real timeline.
