Exclusively.
I'm 29 and have never hung out with people I work with outside of work. They're colleagues to me, nothing more. My friends and I became friends in primary/junior high school and only ever hang out or talk with each other. --- Last night, what we talked about, it made so much sense But now the haze has ascended, it don't make no sense anymore ... Not a single one. I dropped out my sophomore year. Not a single person ever reached out to see what happened so I took that as none of them were actually my friend. I see people all the time I went to school with and it's quite nice no one recognizes me. It's that or they despise me. All or nothing.

I've got a bud way back from elementary and we'd connect on and off. Became friends with some of his buds from college and a couple he met through a mutual interest. Coworkers at one point. But I haven't seen him in a while due to work and distance (and now pandemic). Biggest change was his marriage, which is understandable. But that's someone I love and would always have their back.
Other than that, I didn't make good school friends after middle school and wasn't in college for very long. I've had work friends, but we've drifted apart. Made a couple drinking buddies bartending, but one guy went sober (and I'm happy for him), and I haven't been able to keep up with the other two due to the pandemic. So no, but I'm also terrible at maintaining friendships beyond convenience. Quite a few people I haven't spoken to in a while after various events and life obstacles made it difficult. --- I can't leave without my buddy, Superfly. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's a pretty even split if I weight them by closeness. Almost all of my close friends I can confide anything to are from high school, but many more acquaintances are from mountain biking, the gym, or random meetings while out and about.

I dont hang out with anyone IRL besides my family with COVID-19 raging in my state.
I have a pretty good group of online friends in my FF14 guild/FC that I play with and talk to in discord. I dont really hang on to people after I or they have moved on. Id rather focus on the people around me wherever Im at. --- Posted from my iPhone 8 ... Copied to Clipboard!
