The Left:
*Crying out that the police are evil but then relying on them when something happens.
*Want social systems but someone else should pay for it (tax the rich).
*Want freedom to do drugs on personal time, but okay with cancel culture.

The Right:
*"My body, my choice" when it comes to not wearing a mask, but not when it comes to abortion.
*The irony that literally all other countries are blocking out US now (even Mexico!).
*Want smaller government by making more laws.

Absolutely not. Fuck the police officers that do harm and those that protect them, as well as the police departments that have this "gangster" mentality. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of people saying that all cops are bad and to defund the entire police department.

What I've come to realize is that people don't care too much about the reasoning. They'll want something due to some gut feeling, and then will go look for evidence to support that feeling.

For example, someone might just want a gun because they think they're cool, but they'll swear to God it's because they care about the Constitution. Then what some other part of the Constitution gets disrespected, they don't give two shits.

Specifically for me, I own guns because I think they're cool and fun to shoot. I agree with you that I don't understand the gun culture and NRA...
