Zikten 07/08/20 6:27:27 PM #14:	I think they will eventually remake the whole thing. my guess is decades from now. or maybe sooner than we think. probably within the next 30 to 40 years there will be another project. this time they will start at Hobbit. and when they get to Lord of the Rings, each novel will be it's own trilogy. there is enough material to do it. and now that The Hobbit trilogy showed it can be done with the shortest book in the saga, there is no way they won't do it with the LOTR books. did you know that originally it was all supposed to be just one movie called Lord of the Rings? But I have never come across another cinematic fantasy trilogy or show that has come close to the scale of The Lord of the Rings. And I honestly don't expect I ever will.
