People are walking around with masks like its the god damn apocalypse! Lets stop pretending we are going to come out of this with a world that even remotely resembles what we had. No more air travel, no more restaurants, no more mass gatherings. Theyre are all gone and they are not coming back. Basic human contact is dead, its the end of an era. And even if by some miracle we do get a vaccine, your favorite restaurant is still bankrupt and gone, you still wont be able to enter any building without a temperature check or vaccine status papers. So can we stop acting like normal is ever coming back?

Maybe not for rich people. For poor people it's a lot less of a shift. Hence why the police stuff took priority. Because poor people been dealing with much worse than a virus. It's just that the virus effects you personally. Which is fine, we pretty much all are selfish in this way to an extent. But yeah, people aren't as panicked because they're use to getting stepped on. And it's way more heart breaking when it's other humans doing it directly to you. A lot of people been dealing with much worse than this. This is just something to throw on the pile for a lot of us.

A lot sources are saying there may never be vaccine. And even if there is if you dont think it will expensive as hell then youre incredibly naive. One day youll walk into wal-mart there will be a man standing there who says vaccine papers pleasewe are talking about the next level in social stratification.

Restaurants are open all over the place where I live. I live in Saratoga County in NY and we are in stage 4 of reopening. If things can go back to semi normality during the pandemic, it can as time goes on and we get more treatment options. First step is getting the virus under control, something that is far from impossible since we've seen it happen elsewhere. You can say life will never be close to normal again, but the fact is it's kind of normal in places already, you just don't see that because the US did a bad job.

Air travel is already back, there are pictures of packed planes and some airlines are foolishly dropping social distancing policies.

Quit being so melodramatic. Even without a vaccine, treatments will improve, things as you know it aren't gone forever. Shit changed and shit may never be exactly the same, but normalcy will eventually come back and the scary thing is that may be a bad thing. We may learn nothing from all of this.

A lot of "sources" are looking for clicks. Bad news gets more views than good ones.

There have not been any credible reported cases of people getting infected again by someone else. Just some relapses of their initial infection.

We are seeing relapses all over the world and new lock downs. If the rest of the world can't end this, America is fucked.
