I wouldn't be surprised, honestly. But for accusations that serious I tend to abstain from making judgments until facts come out. Although in Trump's case, he's a sexual predator by self-admission.

Yeah me either, but the reason I ask is that people will often dismiss all the weirdness of pizzagate etc but they still believe Epstein pimped out underage girls to the elite.

Qanon is whacky as fuck but I seriously believe a lot of the rich elites are secret pedos. The adrenochrome rituals and shit is 99% likely bullshit but Epstein was friends with a lot of people including Hollywood actors and shit.

Which I find kind of funny because Flynn himself committed perjury mostly because Trump threw him under the bus, then backed up the bus and pretended to say sorry.

I don't know how they do the mental gymnastics over that one. Flynn probably didn't deserve the crap he got, but he got that crap specifically because of Trump. Trump didn't "save" him. Trump fired him and blamed him for stuff.

The lasting aspect of QAnon is that Q's statements were and are so vague that there are grifters who "interpret" these statements and pass them on to the boomers who are still unprepared for the Internet. The truly dumb shit comes from these interpretations on the part of the grifters and the boomers themselves. For instance, JFK Jr being alive and a secret ally to Q is something that the people behind the Q account did not create, and in fact have repeatedly denied in no uncertain terms. But that hasn't stopped the grifters and believers from latching onto it, because at this point QAnon has grown way past the words of whoever is running the Q account these days. QAnon has become this thing where anyone with any conspiratorial viewpoint at all can take something from it.

Could you break this down for me? I don't follow all the acronyms (or even what he was predicting)

HRC is Hillary Rodham Clinton
US M's is probably Marines
NG is National Guard

he's basically saying they prepared extraditions in advance if Hillary tried to flee the country, and that there would be riots and mass fleeing as a result of her arrest.

as proof he's saying that the National Guard will be active on 10/30. Which I'm guessing they were, but for completely unrelated reasons. It makes his shit sound legitimate though if you're new to the Internet or already a proud conspiracy theorist.

Yeah, they muddy the waters with too much unverifiable stuff when there's legit stuff to check out instead. This woman on this podcast (Whitney Webb) has been researching the thing extensively and she hits on stuff that isn't even touched in the mainstream. So I go with her and her articles. She dives pretty deep and it's nutty enough in its own right. It traces back to the 1940's and the Mafia commission.

I want to clarify that while Q did originate on 4chan, he moved to 8chan after citing concerns that 4chan had been infiltrated (which assuredly has nothing to do with 8chan being the extremist version of 4chan). Now I am by no means an expert on the right wing social media pipeline, but here is how I imagine it would have gone when QAnon was kicking off.

Boomer uses Facebook, joins and friends all sorts of sources for right-wing information.
Since social media is an aggregator, this eventually puts the boomer within a couple degrees separation of Q, reading people who share his posts.
Eventually boomer wants more, and Facebook groups usually aren't too big, so someone turns them onto the Great Awakening subreddit, which reached over 70,000 users before it was banned.
From there they learn about how Q is posting on 8chan and how to read his posts for yourself.
By this point said boomer is so deep in the pipeline that they just...don't care about the rest of 8chan? I mean, it can't be all bad if the whistleblower for their dream revolution trusts it, right?

Somewhere in there is Twitter, which is much less organized than Reddit but is the necessary fallback once the subreddit is shut down.

I've noticed a lot of QAnon-friendly congressional candidates have a huge posse of what I can only assume are bot accounts. They all have near-identical profiles, usually with some variation of WWG1WGA and whatnot, with three Michael Flynn stars and a bunch of patriotic mumbo jumbo.

Obviously a lot to take in, but my favorite is how small the QAnon section is. With how the current owner talks about Q, you'd think that QAnon is the site's moneymaker. And given that the site has been constantly brought down by activists and has had to change hosting providers several times because they keep getting banned for the, you know, white surpemacy, QAnon probably IS the big moneymaker at this point.
