I worry about putting contacts in my eyes. It seems scary. Do you feel them when they are in? I really hate my glasses though too.

It feels like you'd think, there's a small piece of plastic in your eye for hours

If you get dailies, you don't really feel it. If you get monthlies, you can definitely feel it and it sucks.

Crash posted...
Pure shit. Make your peace with glasses, or save up for LASIK. I did the latter after years of wearing contacts.

LASIK has a shit ton of risk. I seen some dude on here saying he constantly had dry eyes after it. Thats not an option.

I use the Acuvue Oasis weekly disposables. Granted i've been wearing contacts for over 20 years, but after putting them in a minute later I don't feel them the rest of the day. I swear by quality saline also, don't skimp and use cheap stuff, I pay for one of the most expensive options but as a result, they are comfortable all day with no cloudiness ever.

I'm 38 and i've been wearing them since I was like 16 so more than half my life, I can barely remember what it was like when I first tried them but I got used to them pretty quick. It's different depending on the person I assume.

I have contacts that last two weeks, and I never really notice them. Note, you do not leave them in that whole time, you take them out overnight.

Other than the slight hassle of having to take them out and put them in again, and carry the solution and cases when traveling, contacts are far better than glasses.

I've been wearing contacts since I was 10 and have never had a problem "feeling" them.

I love my contacts. I wear ones that you take it daily, but are used for 2-4 months. I can't stand wearing my glasses anymore.

I mean you can go to the doctor, get a 30 day trial and see if you like them, and if you adapt to them. Initially getting them in and out is a struggle. Once you get used to it, you can pop them in and out in seconds. It's gonna likely take a few days for your eyes to adapt, the clarity of your vision compared to glasses is going to be much improved also. Give it a fair shot honestly, I will never go back to glasses as long as contacts exist.

I got the high end Oasis Acuvue Replenished brand or whatever. I use the branded contact solution to keep them in overnight and change out my pair about every two weeks. No issues, and you can sleep in them once in a blue moon if necessary, just dont make it a habit at all.

I still have glasses and use them about once or twice a year just because the contacts arent vibing with me that day, hard to explain.

Its so hard wearing a mask and glasses because the glasses fog up. I basically walk around blind.

I am 36. I have worn them since the age of 12. I love them. I see way better out of them.

I am really near sighted, -9 in both eyes. In glasses, my side vision is bad. In contacts, no such problems.

I wear the kind you take out at night but each pair lasts around 6 weeks.

The past few months, I have had trouble with a new type my eye doctor put me in. Wearing my glasses alot and I hate it. I have been to the eye doctor multiple times recently and I am worried I cant wear contacts anymore.
