I cant use apostrophes in titles on this account..?

anyway

Usually, with a fresh tattoo, I do my best to keep it totally dry in the shower, and then just wash that part of my body more gently after, with the appropriate soap. I do this for the duration of the healing process, or at least until the major scabbing is done coming off on its own. Ive only been tattooed on my arms so far, so this has been fairly easy to do, but next month Im starting my leg and Im honestly not sure how to handle healing it. Even just normal washing throughout the day is concerning to me, because obv I cant hang my leg over the sink to cup water over it like my arm. I also cant ask the tattoo subreddit because their rules are awful and any discussion of healing is an insta ban lmao

damn at this rate ima have a meltdown when i start doing my torso

You're overthinking it. Just wash normally, but be gentle in that area. As for washing it if you're not in the shower, just try to bend it under the bathtub faucet, or if you have a removable shower head, use that. I've got a few leg tattoos, and two on my chest, in addition to my arms, and they've all been fine like that.

You'll be fine. Just make sure you don't have any direct water pressure or anything on it. If you soap up your torso or upper leg (I'm assuming you're doing your calf?) the rinse/run off will most likely clean it well enough.

As for throughout the day? Bring a cloth to work/school/wherever you're at along with some unscented soft soap and you'll be ballin'.
