NEET life isnt as glamorous as wagies think. Its and introvert vs extrovert sort of thing.

Longest Ive been a NEET was maybe 2 years? I loved it tbh but dont think its a life for everyone.

Lets put it this way. if you loved quarantine and lockdowns these past few months then you probably wouldnt mind it too. But if you are the type where it drove you mad and you always have an itch to go out and do shit then try being a NEET and it will be just as bad cos you wont have the money to go out and do whatever it is you like to do

But if you about the simple life its pretty comfy and I would recommend it.

there should be absolutely no reason anyone should glamorize or try to be part of the NEET culture

There's some sort of mentality that these people have that's different from most people. I think it's delusional thinking. They don't see themselves in a precarious situation that's only being enabled by other people who are working, earning money and providing this lifestyle for them. They instead see it as a life they're entitled to, their parents are some sort of alien entity different from themselves that exist just to provide for their kid so the kid can sit around and play games and surf the internet all day. It's really fucked up stuff.

By being a stay at home parent with a partner making enough income to take care of the both them and the children. Or are making enough on benefits and child support to so the same.

Another aside from relying on close family is by leeching off a BF, GF freinds or kind people. Although at that point they're nothing sort of parasites who should be thrown to the wolves and if they cant make it then......fuck em.

I'm not that big on darwinism but sometimes it's okay to release it every now and then.
