MiM Fender Vintera 50s Reissue Stratocaster. It plays just as good as most American made Strats but for a third of the price.

The soft V shape neck and smaller 7.25 neck radius is something to get used to but I play with my thumb wrapped around most the time anyways so its chill. The pickups are great, might change them out in the future but don't see any reason to now. They have decent output and are hot enough for my liking.

I can't upload a pic rn but here's the color I got:

https://images.app.goo.gl/kBNH9XYyroV4srK48

MSRP is $899, paid a little over $650 for it and it came with a really nice gig bag. Definitely recommend checking out the Vintera series for any guitarists here looking to get a Fender without spending $1800. My only complaint is the neck is glossy as fuck. Looks like it was dipped in lube but plays great nonetheless lol

NIce, same color as mine. I've been rocking a cheap ass squeir for a decade now lol

I've always liked Squires tbh. Some pretentious people treat them like they're First Act Walmart guitars but the build quality is leagues better. My first guitar ever was some anniversary Squire guitar and I still jam with it!

Nice! I just recently picked up guitar again myself, trying to learn how to play for real this time. Still very early in the stages of learning though.

Good luck! All it takes is time and dedication. Right now is the perfect time to learn.

Thanks! Been playing every day or every other day. Trying to aim for the former though. Definitely improving though I'm only at the stage where I only know a few chords and am learning to switch between them fast without messing up. And I only really know part of one song so far. lol

Hell yeah. Just keep at it. Switching chords is definitely of the first walls every new player hits but you'll get it down quick. What song you learning?

It really depends on the type of Squier. I have a vintage modified tele and used to have a VM Strat as well, both were really solid guitars

Elvis songs are pretty good beginner songs. Nothing wrong with that at all!

True. I think my next guitar will either be a White Falcon or a maybe Tele from the same Vintera line. Quite the price difference though lol

I still hankering for a Bigsby.

But the Goddamn Gibson versions are like around $5,000.

Yet a Ibanez version can be a mere $500.

Never been a fan of Gibson mainly because of pricing lol I do like the SGs and Explorers if I could ever justify buying a Gibson.

I have an Ibanez Artcore semi-hollow that is surprisingly well made. Fixed bridge though. Ibanez guitars are great. I like that one you posted.

I also have an EC-1000 in that VB finish. I love that it's slightly smaller and the neck always felt better to me than Gibsons did.

I have an Ibanez RG3EXFM1 in red and a Prestige 2550Z, same finish as pic. I need to start playing again.

Glossy necks are to die for and on a Fender? Sheeeeesh man..

I love Fenders more so because theyre like getting in a Ferrari - I dont have to worry about how it feels or how it will sound. I have complete reliance in a Squier or Fender to do any job. If I get super good Ill probably spoil myself to one.. right now I have two Gibson SGs.. one from 1982 and another one thats a 2011 61 reissue..

This is Excalibur 11 <3

Though that 1982.. theres something about the neck pickup.. its strange, itll sound like a glass tube on any amp. Just brings thing jangly factor of a Fender but with more bulk its strange.

Super low frets too.. not jumbo at all, theyre almost trapezoid-ish. Anyways, that's a super nice buy TC - I'm super jelly of you >:(

My Classic Vibe tele hangs with my Gibsons. Really love that guitar, vintage blond and I swapped in Classic 50's (I think). I only upgraded the pickups b/c the bridge pu died on me. This was an older classic vibe though I bought it around 2012 used.

Damn you guys have some sick ass guitars. I think my other main gripe on mine is the bridge needs to be adjusted. It's probably double the height of what I'd like. Easy fix I guess but I'm gonna jam these strings to death til I fix it.

I don't have a pic, but the guitar I learned on is a Gibson acoustic.
It was my mom's and was bought in 1967 in Greenwich Village, NYC.
She used to play it a place called Caff Lena in Upstate.

I also have a 12 string that I bought myself.

I will say though, I am about to start a new job, and I noticed they have a guitar for show hanging up.
I checked it, it's out of tune...It won't be some time within the next few weeks. ;-)

I don't have any pics atm...

But there is one slight tarnish, at some point in the mid 2000's the head broke, and my uncle said he could fix it....which he kinda did, but there is a buzz in one of the stings. :-(
It can be fixed, the timing and everything is dishearting....Family stuff wise.

Still, I did learn on it, and just the smell of the Wood reminds me of my Mom...to this day.

Also, do Lookup Caffe Lena, it is real deal shit. My mom used to do Lenas Hair in the 60's...just as girl stuff.
I actually met her a few times, and towards the end as it turns out because I can remember Lina with a neck brace. It must have been right before she passed...as well as my mother. Both very close together as it turns out.
