Where they can keep, edit, and remove anything they wanted. Effectively retconing the ST. So for instance in the new canon timeline they could make it so Luke successfully rebuilt the Jedi order. Brought about a new generation of Jedi and with it a wealth of creative and story ideas set during that era. Keep palpatine dead Reintroducing all the ST characters and properly develop them.
