Im only about 6 hours? in at this point and holy jesus all these leaps of faith into big ass horrifying cosmic shit is fucking me up lol. That, and the water planet terrifies me.

My hands never sweat while Im gaming but my gamepad is developing a layer of dried-sweat gunk from this game lol

The fov is weird and even at a decent framerate is feels choppy but thankfully it hasnt given me motion sickness or anything

I wish I could have gotten into that game as it sounds like the payoff is amazing. I played it for several hours making my way to different planets but it just didn't grab me.

As someone who has a fear of the pitch black portions of the ocean I hoped off of Giant's Deep once I took a dip underwater.

Even that doesn't compare to Dark Bramble though.

The writing and gameplay on their own are both pretty unremarkable and I can totally understand not getting totally pulled in by it. What does it for me is how beautifully the two play off each other, an absolutely stellar example of something far exceeding the sum of its parts imo.

That, and the aforementioned pants-shitting terror just about every half-significant development in the game has inspired so far.

About to head underwater and Im fucking dreading it lmao. Deep water TERRIFIES me.

I havent found much info on the Dark Bramble yet but have bits and pieces and had very very slight spoilers about the anglers when I googled something I was stuck on, but I got curious to see if I could make it to the campsite you see inside the seed on timber hearth and took a blind jump in and boy oh boy did that suck huge ass.

also no spoilers pls im loving finding things myself

Most of the planets aren't scary, but when you have to pilot around the sun is really tense. Every time I was on the Hourglass Twins I was worried that the Sun would snatch me off the planet if I used my jetpack too much.
