None of the above.
I'm still running Windows 7, haven't changed OS in 3 years. I got Kaspersky Free Antivirus, uninstalled MalwareBytes about a year ago, and I've NEVER had any viruses. Not even the ones that fuck up USB sticks and stuff with hidden folders, Kaspersky sometimes detects them when I plug in a new one, but it just fixes them on the go. --- Not changing this sig until The Big Dawg Roman Reigns beats cancer and wins back the Universal Title. to happen to me: i ended up getting hit with a rootkit but didn't have too much issue getting rid of it.
Girl came in with one of those full screen lock things that says you've been looking at shady material and must pay 80 to remove this screen, or you'll be arrested/fined/etc. ransomware. i took that off of someone else's pc, once. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

ransomware. i took that off of someone else's pc, once. A good friend of mine got hit with that. He usually plays MMORPGs and uses "bots" to make some quick cash by putting some characters to repeatedly do quests and grind and shit. The guy that was selling him the bot keys, sent him a ransomware too. One of those very intricate ones, he basically lost everything. The dudes (russian btw) were asking for 1000 bucks in Bitcoin. --- Not changing this sig until The Big Dawg Roman Reigns beats cancer and wins back the Universal Title. Belee Dat! ...
