Yeah, RAGE 2 was 50% like one month after release (either it was RAGE 2 or one of the Wolfenstein games, can't remember)

I believe it was because it got mixed reviews so they decided to cut their loss. Same with Dawn of War III which was negatively reviewed. But Doom Eternal was rated mostly positive.

Edit: I think Gears of War V was also the same.
