trump will be the final president in US history. sounds pretty high stakes to me. there has never been a more serious election. 2nd term Trump will literally destroy america

Trump is not the problem. Let me repeat this louder for the people in the back: Trump is not the problem.

He is, BY FAR, the worst President I've experienced in my fucking life. But look at all of the dumbasses who voted him in. All of the Republicans who defend and protect him. Trump wouldn't be here if not for them. Or Trump would have been removed from his position if not for them. It's not like Trump was created by the Devil himself, sent here to disrupt our "awesome" country. He's the embodiment of everything that's been wrong with this country to begin with. Republicans wanted him because he represented them. Democrats put forth a candidate that nobody was enthusiastic about, because the alternative would mean rejecting the status quo.

That is the situation we're in and we need to be fucking honest about it.

yes mr Jameson I am serious. and you should not be so cocky, you have been wrong about things in the comics manytimes and looked like a fool. in Ultimate Spider-Man you had a story arc where you started worshipping Spider-Man even

lmfao this is why you're the best, Zikten. <3

All I really see is irrational panic over the chance of Trump being re-elected, and rational quietly-moving-money-offshore over the chance of Biden getting elected.

Then it seems you're contributing to Trump remaining in office and are okay with that. I agree with voting 3rd party if you don't like a candidate to show that candidate has support in the future, but now it's pretty important to get rid of an absolute evil in the office.

no, that would be like saying that anyone who voted for hillary or biden in the primaries was supporting trump.

If i were contributing to trump i would be voting for trump. I'm contributing to I won't support the status quo and i will never vote for the lesser of two evils. That the democrats should leverage their popular majority to fix elections so I can actually vote for a candidate I want and the actual best candidate will win.

People really don't seem to understand that Trump can literally break any law that he wants to as precedent set by the impeachment stuff but "tHeY'Re BoTh ThE sAmE"
They are wildly dissimilar, but "not Trump" is not the same as "guy I like and agree with", especially a known quantity like Joe Biden, with his war record, rather conservative views and 8 years as VP of a crappy Presidency. I'm not going to vote against someone if I can't vote for the other.

Should third parties and other independent individuals and groups just stop existing in America because they're wasting votes and time by not fitting into the one of the two major holes? That sounds like a testament against the two-party system, not a convincing argument to back it.

Yes because of how it is currently set up and it will never change. Does it suck? Yes, but there's nothing that will ever cause it to not be a 2 party system.

it changes by people like you voting accordingly.

Democrats have a majority of votes, they should be pushing that majority to fixing elections. As the patriot act's video already showed, Maine has adapted to the right way to vote. Get more states on board, then people can vote for the candidate they want. And we can push forward the best candidates rather than the one most paid for by corporate america.

Neither Biden nor trump are going to make the country better in any meaningful, so I will continue to exercise my right to vote to bring change to the country. Which can not be done by supporting Biden or Trump.

Countless countries have broken pass 2 party systems.

That's fine to do in the future if you wanna die on that hill but another 4 years of Trump might not let people vote again.

and yet your line of thinking got hillary to lose to trump. Your line of thinking got biden to be the nominee, the only DNC candidate who can lose to Trump.

You keep propping up Corporate america and wonder why we got in the situation we got. I will never vote for a 'lesser evil', because by definition, that means i'm voting for evil. My bar for president doesn't start at "not trump" and I won't allow a corrupt situtation or a parandoid delusional who sounds like a wackjob during obama's reelection saying he would never give up the presidency.

When you act exactly like the people you chastise, go find a mirror and do some hard thinking about how you got where you are.

I tried to give logical reasoning ITT and it's not getting through to some of the users here. Trump will make the country worse. If you think Biden won't make it better that's fine, but Trump will make it worse.

Try and make your changes in 4 years with your Independent voting. Try and think of this election as saving your country and well being. Trump legit could take away your ability to vote or destroy the country altogether.

So far, no such candidate has been put forth, so abstain it is.

Biden will make it worse, trump will make it worse, i won't vote for making the country worse. You can, but that's how you end up choosing between biden or trump or clinton or trump or gore and bush or bush and kerry

at least obama ran a campaign that made it seem like he wanted to be about change before he got elected and showed he was just another corporate stooge. Every election it's the same story you have to tell yourself to justify a vote you don't believe in. Because you are never voting for someone, you are always voting against someone. And that's how you get a shitfilled democracy.
