We were in Disney World when the Space Shuttle Columbia took off, that was cool to see even though we could only see a glimpse of it. SiO4 06/23/20 11:31:09 PM #11:	Yes, once. I never even went to the Ocean. I was at Okeechobee at my friend's Grandmother's house, well trailer. It was a cool experience. I was in my teens. I didn't have enough money really, but my friends and I helped one of his G'mas friend, who lived across the canal mow people's lawns, and that made up for that. It was the first time I saw a manatee, a natural Banana tree, a mister pib and a Taco Bell. Also a Piggly Wiggly. And as well as a military jet going fast then the speed of sound...somewhat low flying. Plus we tried to watch a shuttle launch in the 321, but the weather wasn't right. But we did get to see it go off from 'back home' like the next day. It was a cool, but also an odd trip. It was also ironically right around when Pee-wee Herman was caught deeding in Sarasota. I remember hearing it on the radio, I think the same day as the Taco Bell day. And I just looked, ya I forgot I spent my birthday down there..The year was 1991.
