I actually finished exploring everywhere except for final boss with 800 as my Korok count. Presumably, most of the ones I'm missing are from the places I did earlier, since I got a lot more thorough as I played on.

Starting with Hebra.

If my count is correct, Hebra was the 13th of 15 areas on the map I explored, so I don't expect too many here.

First missed was a teleporting yellow flower.

Second was a balloon in a cave, at the entrance so I missed it.

Third is a rock in a small crag that's covered from above. Near Hebra peak. Pretty hard to see unless you find that crag entrance.

Fourth was a pot inside an overturned tree trunk on the side of the road leading to the tower.

Fifth was an ice crystal that I needed to melt on top of the mushroom rocks to the east of the peak. I definitely melted this before, so I must've just not melted it all the way or something. Not sure.

Sixth was another overturned tree trunk, west of the stable. Why is there a stable in the middle of this snowfield? Madness.

Seventh was a spinny wheel balloon shooting gallery on the cliffside overlooking the Forgotten Temple. NO idea how I missed this one. My Hero's Path runs right near. Must have been looking in the wrong direction.

I'm going to save all the stuff in the ravines for other areas, which means I am done with Hebra!

Only 7 missing Koroks out of 100 here (that's roughly average of what I should expect for each area).

Next zone we'll do is... Woodlands. Weird shaped area. If my count is right... I think I did Woodlands... eighth? Out of 15. Let's begin with the Forgotten Temple ravine...

Oh. Got em all.

First one is... you guessed it. A pot in a fallen tree trunk, northeast of the Serenne Stable.

Second is a rock on a scaffolding just southeast of the Woodland Tower.

Third is one running around the pond near the shield surfing hill. A little on the edge of the territory, but I counted it.

That's it! Only 3 here!

Hyrule Ridge next. Hyrule Ridge was 14th, second to last place I explored. Let's see how many I'm missing here.

First is a teleporting flower in the Hyrule Lab Ruin. My Hero's Path shows me having followed this exact path before. I must've started it, got to the penultimate flower, then paused and forgot I never finished it.

Second is a hard to find one atop Lindor's Brow. Atop a dead tree that's in the middle of other trees. Doesn't stick out at all on its own. Terrible.

There's a ledge on the north end of Lindor's Brow, just below the top, that has a bombable spot with a rock under it for Korok number 3.

Number four is atop a windmill in the ravine, which pisses me off because I could've sworn I climbed ALL of these.

Fifth is a little hidden rock at the top of a waterfall on Mount Rhoam.

Sixth is a bombable rock with a rock beneath it in the north part of Thundra Plateau. Weird because I RAN RIGHT BY IT.

Southwest of Washa's Bluff has a forest with a balloon on top of a tree. Stupid. Must've been going through this place fast.

Eighth one is a hanging pot in the middle of a windmill! Jeez! How was I supposed to find that?

There's a golf course in the middle of the valley and stupid me didn't think to climb to the top of the flag. Whoops!

Tenth on a dead tree in the middle of a hill on Satori Mountain, and the eleventh just a little east in a pot in the middle of a standing tree trunk.

I must've just missed the last one here... twelfth is one of those pairs of shrines where you have to place an apple on a plate. With that one done, it appears I'm done with Hyrule Ridge.

And YEESH. Twelve missing here? And that was my penultimate area to explore... must've just been a lot of awkward territory to search through.

Tabantha next. It's small which will make it easy and quick. Tabantha was, by my count, the fourth area I explored. Had to get Revali's Gale quick, you know?

I was almost really proud here. As far as I could see, I got them all AND THEN THERE'S JUST ONE I MISSED.

ONE.

Southwest of the tower, a small rock hiding in the side of a hill.

73 Koroks remaining.

Let's go back to the beginning. Tutorial Plateau. Place no. 1.

First one is in the Forest of Spirits, under a rock under some leaves under a tree's exposed roots.

There's a Korok in the Temple of Time... surprised I never climbed to the top of it before. Oversight from that being a the beginning of the game.

Southeast of the Plateau has our third, atop the old man's house. I found a second warm doublet here, too!

The last one is at the bridge near the west of where the lake lets out. It's underneath the bridge. Climbing around down there, I can't get it... guess I need the raft? And nope. That didn't work. I guess it's just this log right here... I just need to unseat it. This may be one of the most complex Koroks in the game. Anyway, using ice block to lift the log over the place where it's stuck is enough to get the Korok.

That gives us four Koroks at the Plateau. Small area, but being the first one explored, it makes sense.

Gerudo Highlands would be number 12 of 15. Except I DID get all the Koroks here! Which means we're onto 11/15, one of the large ugly chunks of area... the Gerudo Desert.

Number 1 is close to the entrance to the Yiga Hideout, with teleporting flowers leading up a pillar to the wall.

Number 2 above the shrine in the northwest of the desert, on top of a skeleton's vertebra.

That actually clears the entire desert portion. Now just the valley to the east...

Third one is southeast of Mount Nabooru, at the end of a bluff. A strange place for me to not have picked up on my playthrough. Hero's Path goes through the area. And there's a tree here... ah. I have to climb the tree. I must've cut it down the first time.

And that actually clears it. Only missed 3 Koroks in the desert. I guess that happens when you obsessively explore the whole place.

10/15 is Lake Area. This one I might be missing a lot. There's a lot of jungle here. Not completely sure where the split is between Lake and Faron though... gonna need to look up a map.

Missing two in Laverra Beach. One at the top of a palm tree and a second to the left under a rock on the cliff. Really awkward area. Completely missed it my first time around.

Third one is in the middle of Cora Lake, and uh... I actually can't find it. Had to climb up above and look down with Stasis to find a metal box. Now I just have to find the puzzle where it goes. About five minutes of searching and I FINALLY find the puzzle on a far wall. Jeez. A lot of magnesis and cryonis later and I get it.

Following the river down a little bit further leads to a cliff where I just missed a bombable rock at the end.

I find the fifth one at Puffer Beach in a tide pool with a diving spot that's really well hidden. Instead of lilypads, this one has like, five seaweed stalks.

Sixth one is right next to a shrine, with a metal ball I have to put in a stump. Somehow missed this one despite it being RIGHT next to a shrine.

Seventh is in Sarjon Woods, on a spot I ran over twice before. Turns out there was a balloon hiding in the fronds of a palm tree.

Eighth is a rough looking slope with a bombable wall that really blends in well. COMPLETELY didn't check out this place the first time around.

Ninth is one that I missed in the middle of the great bridge. And I am completely unable to find this one. Seems like it's below the bridge, but every time I jump to look for it, I can't find it then have to swim around until I drown. I did this 5 times until I found, on a ledge... a chest with 5 arrows. Christ. Okay. Okay. This was the DUMBEST Korok. I just had to pick up the stick. There was a deku stick on a ledge. And I had to pick up it. That's dumb.

The tenth and final one was a lilypad circle on the edge of the lake that wasn't really having a cliff above it, so... got it. Done. Done with this dumb lake.

Faron was the ninth place. Hopefully it doesn't take too long here... And it looks like there are only three that I missed!

First is in Keya Pond. There's a hill here that I completely missed, but it's actually just a teleporting flower that I didn't see the first time through. This one's actually a pretty dumb route.

Next two are in Lurelin. First is on the left side, atop a tree sticking out of a roof. Just have to climb it and grab fruit, I guess.

The last one is some teleporting flowers leading up some trees on the roof of the inn. Silly. This also reminds me of having to get a stone to the top of one of these roofs - one of the Koroks I did do ahead of time. That one was also a huge mess.

Phew. I need to take a break.

The seventh place is Eldin.

First Korok is at Gut Check rock. Took me a bit to figure this one out, but there are rocks atop all the rocks, and I had to move one... slightly uphill.

Second is just northwest behind a rock wall hidden around a corner. Somehow this large cliffside got pretty avoided when I went here the first time.

Third is one of those time trial flying ones that is above the Goron Village... apparently I went by it one time and decided not to do it. Was probably waiting for Revali's Gale to reload or something.

Fourth is south of the Caldera. There's a lot of ridges on this volcano and I explored the tops of all of them... but this is a well hidden cave. Bombable wall with a rock Korok.

Fifth is just south of the stable under a rock.

Sixth I think technically isn't in Eldin but it's a lilypad circle in a pond to the southwest.

That covers Eldin.

Akkala, which was sixth, is next.

First Korok is far northeast near the Akkala Tech Lab. A little to the west, on the left side of Tumlea heights. There's a pile of leaves in the trees here with a rock under it. One of these stupid ones in the middle of nowhere.

Next two are just southwest from the north stable. One a little below the road, the other closer to Death Mountain. One is just a running around one that you have to catch.

The next is a tall pine in the middle of a grove of trees. Easy one to miss when you're just running around trees.

The fourth is South Lake Akkala under a bridge. A little rock on a ledge.

The fifth is in south Ulria Grotto. At the top of another dumb tall tree.

The sixth is at the south of the curly thing. Rist Peninsula. I had to start at the top of the mountain and chase a trail of teleporting flowers down. Not sure how I missed this one, since the first flower was really obvious, but got it all the same.

That closes off Akkala.

41 Koroks left. That's a lot for the amount of areas remaining...

Onto the very SECOND place I ever explored, West Necluda! I might expect to find a lot here, or I might not! There's probably a healthy amount I missed since it was so early, but I don't think this is THE area that's going to destroy me, remaining. But let's find out!

I say this and immediately I'm proven wrong.

First Korok is across the bridge going from Plateau to Necluda area. There's a ton of Koroks here, and I missed just one, which is just a stupid rock on the coast.

Next set of a bunch are north, in this island area just northwest of the tower. Second is... actually a shooting gallery pinwheel I somehow missed on the south of the island, with pots being thrown above the trees.

At this point, I have noticed my Hero's Path has truly reached the 200 hour mark, and is overwriting my progress from the beginning of the game. Looking at this island, it is telling me I've NEVER explored it before.

Third is at the top of this stupid flagpole which I must've given up climbing in early game or something?

Fourth is in the middle of the island atop a hill, with a stump that I did not put the magnesis rock into. Maybe I just missed it the first time, or perhaps the rock just didn't spawn. Yes, it is the game that was wrong, not me.

Fifth is in a forest on the northwest of the island, with a dumb rock in a tree.

Sixth is technically on a border but I'm calling it here. It's on Mount Rozudo, southeast of the stable. There's some trees here, and surprising, another shooting gallery pinwheel I missed. This is from back in my playthrough when I didn't hit every square inch, otherwise I wouldn't have missed this.

Seventh is somehow on Kakariko bridge. Circle of rocks I have to throw a rock off the bridge into. I guess it's... kinda hard to see if you're not looking for it? Actually, I think I tried this one, and just didn't know how to do it, since it requires a little bit of thinking, so I might've just skipped it. Took me four rocks to make it in.

Eighth is... technically not in this area either but I'm counting it. I just follow the river to the east. Near the waterfall, halfway up the cliff, is a set of four trees. One is taller. I climb it to find Korok.

The wild news is this. It appears I missed three more Koroks in the roads leading to and away from Kakariko. Korok no. 9 is a hidden thing to shoot... an eye on one of the arches. It has an arrows sticking near it, but is otherwise an atypical Korok hiding spot.

Number 10 is in the other gulley leading out. It's under a rock on a ledge sticking out high up. I might have missed this because there was another ledge sticking out below it, and then I would've missed this higher one.

Eleventh Korok is also shooting an eye on an arch.

There's a chance there was a twelfth that i got before I started keeping count, but I'm not positive, so I'll just keep that in the back of my mind for now.

Onto East Necluda?

East Necluda, the fifth place I explored. Seems to be a larger area, but more round, which makes it... harder to divide up? Let's begin.

Only four around Mount Lanayru which was... expected, I guess. I thought there'd be a lot here. First is a little northeast from the peak, in a circle of rocks to complete that I can actually see if I zoom in on the map in-game

Second is far north side of the mountain, by the riverside. Another circle of rocks I could see from the in-game map...

Third is northwest from the peak, on the ridge that comprises the north wall of Naydra snowfield. It's actually a time trial go-through-the-ring stump.

Fourth is directly east of the peak, right near the shoreline. I must've just not seen this place when flying around (hard to explore this mountain, really), because it's a golf korok.

Fifth is in the Ovli plain north of the tower. In a group of trees. Pot hiding in the trunk.

The next two are just south of the Tower, on the road leading up. Korok six is another pot in a tree trunk.

Seven is a group of three apple trees! I haven't missed like any of these! They're atop a little mound that covers the road.

Next three surround Ebon Mountain. One on the northwest side, it's actually a magnesis block puzzle.

Number nine is a path of teleporting flowers just on the north side of the mountain that leads to the peak.

Tenth is southeast of the mountain, in another circle of rocks that can be seen from the map. I appear to have missed this ledge while floating above it. It blends in very well.

Eleventh appears to be at the Ancient Tech Lab. Not exactly sure where, but I just start climbing. And lo and behold... there's one on the very tip top.

There's a chance I got two other Koroks here before I started counting from 800, so I'll keep that note for now. Will add them if I need to.

Two more areas left! Nineteen Koroks!

Lanayru makes to be the third place I explored. Had to do that main quest, and all. So there's probably plenty missing here as well. I'd expect a lot missing here, and less in Hyrule Field.

Missing just one to the left of the Wetlands. Bigass tree to the side of the road, has a couple of rocks stacked up near it with a rock korok beneath.

Second is directly west of Zora's Domain, high up on the cliffs. There's a magnesis block puzzle on the side of the mountain.

Third is where the 'first' Lynel is. Also up on the mountains, northeast of Zora's Domain. Bombable rock on the side of mountain, with rock korok beneath.

Fourth is directly east of the East Reservoir Lake, with another magnesis block puzzle on the side of the mountain.

Fifth is directly south from there, on Ja'Abu Ridge. Bombable rock on the side of the mountain.

Sixth is directly south from there... at yet another magnesis block puzzle in the side of the mountain. Finding a LOT of these here.

Seventh is to the southeast, on the west side of Lodrum Headland. There's a large slab that needs stasis to be moved, with a rock korok beneath.

And uh... that's it?

Hopefully I'm missing a lot more from Hyrule Field and Castle orrrrr I'm gonna be lost lol.

Hyrule Field and Castle. 12 more Koroks. I'm at 888. There's a few scattered about to start.

First one is right on the gate for Hyrule Castle Town. It's just shooting the shield on the north side of the arch.

Second is east in the Applean Forest. In this massive apple forest, there is a set of three apple trees that I missed.

Third is northeast of the tower, in the middle of the field. There's actually a shooting gallery pinwheel in this little copse of trees that I missed.

Fourth is in the BEEG area southeast of this. Right in the middle. Just a guy running around in circles.

Fifth is southwest of tower and Mount Daphnes. Just across from Gleeok bridge. Grouping of trees. Pot in a tree trunk.

Sixth is at East Post Ruins, east of the Forest of Time. This one is another shooting gallery pinwheel.

Seventh is just north of the coliseum ruins. There is a tree in the middle of the muck that I didn't get to before that has a time trial ring stump on it. I get it and... near as I can tell, that's everything that's not in Hyrule Castle.

Eighth is... one of three on the bridge leading to the castle. There is a small pot in a little alcove beneath the bridge... had to look around for this one.

Ninth is hard to find. In a spot with 3 in a row, where I already have 2... just around the Observation Room. I eventually realize it's another shooting a stupid Hyrule crest and yoink it.

Tenth is a lilypad circle in a group of waterfalls outside the northeast part of the castle.

That uh... that's all I found on my map.

Two more Koroks. I need to skim back through the entire map and see if I can find them.

Ughh....
