Hmm, I feel it's the other way. Look at how easy it was for the accuser to simply tweet her accusation and how much past tweets Bieber's team have to go through to clear his name.

They most probably have to check with Gomez's lawyers as well since they are using her as an alibi.

And the accuser simply vanished after that.

It was literally never "believe all women". That was just some dumb shit conservatives came up with so they could attack actual victims when they planted enough false accusations.
All #MeToo supporters ever said was "believe women" or "believe all victims", which is a very different sentiment that's just saying to hear out the accusation instead of burying it because "women lie" or "he's a good kid" or "boys will be boys".

Curious if anything even happens to the accuser. Had a cousin spend several months in jail for his accuser to finally admit she didn't want her mom to know she was having sex so she told her mom she was raped. Absolutely nothing happened to the accuser in that situation.

This incident was over 10 years ago and with where we are about encouraging victims to speak up I can't see anything happening. You just can't take the chance of flipping and wrongfully incriminating a sexual assault victim for reporting the crime. Possibly a civil suit for Bieber but criminally idk where they can go.

In my cousins instance she outright admitted to lying in a court of law and nothing. False accusations hurt the real victims

This is enraging. People should be as equally outraged at stuff like this as they should at guys who actually commit the abuse, but they arent.
