I was wondering about this if anyone knows.

I know Cloth Masks are not the best compared to Medical grade, but what about solid made masks with a cloth mask insert inside it?

Or is this virus so damn penetrable that it doesn't matter?

Edit -

My topic title is a little weird..should say "less effective compared to Cloth Masks".

I feel like if someone is talking to you, their saliva is just gonna absorb into the cloth and destroy the purpose >_>. I use N95

I mean the general purpose of the masks is to catch the microscopic drops of spittle flying out of your mouth when you talk, laugh, cough, etc so a cloth mask is pretty much fine in that regard. It's not going to be as good at blocking incoming particulate as a mask that is solid and has a good seal around your airway but that's the whole point of "everyone needs to wear a mask"

If you cannot blow out a candle/lighter/match placed in front of your cloth mask, then it is effective enough for why we should be wearing.

That being, as mentioned above, to prevent your droplets from getting out, not necessarily to stop others from getting in. This is why EVERYONE should be wearing appropriate covering in public.
