TLOU 1 was like that yeah, but it was more of an emotional rollercoaster with highs and lows. Just from what happened now (Abby fucking killing Joel) and what people are talking about (without spoilers) that this game is gonna suck...emotionally.

there are some light parts, though, and I'm hoping that more will appear later on, despite that emotionally devastating stuff might happen.

edit: make sure to read Ellie's journal whenever she writes something inside. it's great.

Thanks. As a game I'm really liking the attention to detail and the many more opportunities to explore, find stuff, and get conversations. The game is fun and immersive to play in at the very least, and I like the little added parts of the gameplay (not needing to craft shivs is a godsend).
