My friend and professional colleague, Nolan Neal, has made it through on this year's edition of America's Got Talent. He appeared on The Voice a few years back but didn't make it to the finals.

He's a recovering addict, spent a lot of his time having a giant ego and drinking and snorting coke a whole lot. Too much. He was his own self destruction, over and over.

He broke down a bit, turned back to drugs, and had a complete downfall.

I worked with him for nearly 8 years, and I took him in for a couple of months, offered what support I could but it always seemed like personal logic overruled his addictions. He always felt like he was bigger than he was.

The guy is talented, but he's running out of time. He managed to clean himself up and finally get sober for a while and managed to last resort audition for America's Got Talent. I was watching the show and had no idea whatsoever. I immediately texted him after and he said "I think I figured it out" and he got through to the next round of the show.

If you watch this show, give this guy your vote. If not, keep him in mind. He's a great, emotional singer. He's damaged but deserves a last chance, and he's my friend that I drank with probably a hundred times. Bro made Sofia Vargera cry.

I just felt like I should drop some awareness, the guy has paid his dues and deserves a break.

Woah, that song he wrote is very powerful. I don't watch but I am rooting for this guy.

He's legit a kind hearted guy that suffers from his own personal demons and addictions. He'll give you the shirt off his back, but take the cash out of your wallet for a fix. I really hope he's in it for real this time and he's not going to fall back into old habits. He can sing, and make a career out of it.
