I wish glasses prescriptions were the same as contacts.

I got a pair of prescription sunglasses years back, they were awesome until about a year later my eyes changed and I didnt want to pay a bunch to have the lenses changed.

I split so much time between indoor and outdoor at my job it's easier to just have transitions and a hat. For a while I was using sunglasses that fit over my glasses, those worked alright.

I'm due for new glasses soon. Always had to get the bare minimum due to being a broke ass bitch, but I'm going all out this time, including transition lenses.

So psyched.

I had Transitions when they first came out. Hated them and will never do them again.

I used to have a pair of prescription sunglasses the time prior to this last time getting new glasses. I had trouble with my eyes adjusting to them and they just sat unused. I eventually just had the lenses swapped for regular ones to have a back up pair of glasses. It just seemed like too much of a hassle to carry a spare pair of glasses to swap when I could get some cheap clip overs they were less of a pain to haul around.

Check out places like zenni, I got spare glasses and a pair of sunglasses for like 15 dollars each. Literally all you need is a copy of your prescription and that's it. Ezpz. Might get my next main pair from them since the cheap ones are nice
